Theme Thursday: Peaches and Cream Regency Era Inspiration

Today’s Theme Thursday is a bit on the subtle side of things, but I just love this peaches and cream Regency Era (Jane Austen’s time period) inspiration board. I’m particularly fond of the wedding topper lollipops (yes, those are lollipops!) from Andie’s Specialty Sweets (an Etsy Virtual Bridal Show team member).

If you are searching for a Jane Austen Regency inspired bridal gown, designer, Claire Pettibone has several dresses, which would certainly fit within the theme without being strictly period. The dress featured in the board is from her continuing collection and is appropriately named, Emma. Here are a few others:

I collect cameos and was fortunate to get a start on my collection with family heirlooms. One popular style of cameo during the Regency era, the tiara comb. Here’s a great example:

and for those who could afford it: tea, lots of tea. Here is a Regency era tea caddy. Note the keyhole. Tea was extremely valuable and kept under lock and key.
