Dream Finds Friday: Tattered

This week’s Dream Finds Friday definitely speaks to my love of rustic chic weddings. I love all of the subtle imperfections that can transform decor and attire in to something that leaves the eye searching for more. From family heirlooms to new pre-aged treasures, rustic items give your wedding a heir of history about it.

Today I present to you several tattered finds from my favorite source for unique wedding and party items: Etsy. I hope you enjoy the examples I have picked and when you are finished here, please follow this link to Pocketful Of Dreams to find out what other dream finds are out there awaiting you this week.

Wedding Wednesday: Request- Summer Country Wedding

Today’s Wedding Wednesday comes from a request for an inspiration board for a summer country wedding. Country, when done the right way, can certainly be very chic and beautiful. Here is a bit of country for you using sunflowers and peach roses.

Burlap Wedding

I know what you’re thinking, “burlap at a wedding?” If you are wanting a rustic look for your wedding, consider burlap as a design element. As the following set shows, burlap can be beautiful.

What Would the Wedding Planner Do?

A few people have asked me, “Kristen, what would YOU do if you were getting married again?” or, “What’s your style with regard to weddings.” Personally, I love things that are rustic and a bit Victorian. Don’t get me wrong, I love putting together classic traditional weddings, themed events, etc. However, for me I like to keep it natural, lacy, and a bit fairy like. So, for all of you who have asked, this is what I would do if I were to get married again (note the Louboutin heels that are just to DIE for).
