Tips or Trends Tuesday: New Years Trend: Apocalypse Party

“It’s the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.” -REM

Unless you’ve managed to actually live under a rock, you will know that many believe the Mayan Calendar predicts the end of the world in 2012. There are many skeptics out there (I happen to be one of them) that believe in the lack of historical and archeological evidence to prove that this idea of the Mayan Calendar predicting the end of the world is simply a pop culture invention. However, I love a party and New Years Parties are often theme parties with fabulous costumes, dancing, and fireworks. Why not have a tongue in cheek New Years apocalypse party?

Since the world is going to end, you might as well live it up and indulge. Think of lavish decor, the best of the best in food and beverage, amazing gowns, and the Seven Deadly Sins. Live it up and turn it out!
