Last night’s Oscar red carpet saw some definite hits and misses. Okay, I’m going to get snarky here for a mo’. In my opinion, the major miss of the night was Anne Hathaway’s worst dressed trifecta in Prada: pointy nipples, too much side boob, and ill placed jewelry. Sure, there were others that were disheveled and dumpy, but I guess I expect more from Anne and the side boob trend is super tacky.
However, there were several ladies that stood out in trendsetting wedding worthy inspired frocks that I just have to show you. Check out the board below for the style I feel can easily translate in to gorgeous bridal looks and then keep scrolling for some current bridal designs that speak to their Oscar counterparts: Amy Adams with her feathered ball gown by Oscar de la Renta, Zooey Deschanel with her vintage inspired floral embroidered frock, Shaun Robinson in a crisp black and white gown, Jessica Chastain in her gold classic Hollywood styled gown by Giorgio Armani, Charlize Theron in a beautifully structured white peplum dress, Kristen Stewart’s lace sheath with a tulle train by Reem Acra, Alicia Vikander in an on-trend long sleeved gown by Elie Saab, Kristen Chenoweth in Tony Ward, and winner of the Best Actress Award…Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture.
