Happy Friday! What will you be up to this weekend? Me, I’ll be snuggled up on the couch in front of the fireplace with Mr. Wondermous. The kiddo is up the mountain at Grandma’s and will be frolicking in the snow and skipping across Grandma’s frozen lake. I’m looking forward to nearly three days without stepping on a Lego…lol.
Today I have two treasuries for you. Both are sneek peeks in to what the Etsy Virtual Bridal Show Team will be presenting as part of our annual show here on the Belle Memorie blog, beginning March 18th. I am just so proud of all the amazing vintage finds and one of a kind handmade creations our talented team has to offer you this year. Check out these swoon worthy gowns and fabulous floral headpieces! Stay tuned for the show on the 18th and next week will present more peeks in to what the team has been up to. Have a great weekend!
This week’s post welcomes Celestial Dresses and Anjay’s Designs. Celestial Dresses is a great designer of detailed bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and special occasion dresses. My favorite part about Celestial’s dresses is the attention to detail and sparkle that makes their dresses unique in a sea of yawn. As for Anjay’s Designs, LOVE! Nature inspired engagement, wedding, and special ocassion jewelry like nothing you’ve ever seen. Me, I’m in love with their butterfly rings. I wonder if I can convince Mr. Wondermous to consider one for an anniversary ring?
As per usual, the Etsy Virtual Bridal Show Team has been busy creating beautiful items for your upcoming wedding. Don’t forget that when you buy directly from the artisan, you support sustainable businesses that contribute directly to their families and communities.
It’s that time of the week where I take my previous day’s posts and show you how to take that inspiration and find it on Etsy. This week we had zombies, lace, and bouquets. Clearly one of these things is not like the other one, but even so, Etsy’s got it!
I love all things lace and plan to incorporate it as much as possible in to my own wedding. Here are some great lace finds. Some are from the Etsy Virtual Bridal Show Team…shameless plug. 🙂
Tomorrow, I will have a new segment featuring the newest items from the Etsy Virtual Bridal Show Team. It will run periodically on the weekend as team members post new items. Thanks so much for all of your support of this blog. Tell a friend or ten about it. 😉
Welcome to the final post of the Etsy Virtual Bridal Show. The Etsy Virtual Bridal Show Team has more fabulous gifties for your wedding party and we will have more to bring you throughout the year. Don’t forget about our giveaways! Deadline is tonight at 11:59 Mountain Time.
I began the Etsy Virtual Bridal Show last year to support individual artisans and vendors and to provide couples with alternatives to the mass produced wedding finds out there is traditional stores. The bridal world is evolving and growing away from the expected and moving toward individual craftsmanship and DIY touches. What’s great about Etsy is that you too can have a handmade look to your wedding without sacrificing your fingerprints to your hot glue gun.
In addition to helping individually owned shops, I wanted to bring awareness to my chosen charity: Wish Upon A Wedding. “Wish Upon a Wedding is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization that provides weddings and vow renewals to couples facing terminal illness or other serious life-altering circumstances, regardless of sexual orientation. Often, couples facing such situations do not have the energy, time, money, or resources needed to plan their wedding. Our organization takes care of all the details, offering couples a chance to relax and enjoy a very special day while surrounded by the love of their closest family and friends.” -www.wishuponawedding.org
Please note that donations are not required to view or for vendors participate in the show. This is my labor of love to bring awareness to Wish Upon A Wedding and my belief in supporting small businesses and individual artisans. If you feel led to help Wish Upon A Wedding accomplish their mission, please see Wish Upon A Wedding’s donation page.
Legal Mumbo Jumbo:
While I am a volunteer with Wish Upon a Wedding, Belle Memorie is not an official representative of Wish Upon a Wedding. In addition, Belle Memorie is not an official representative of Etsy or the vendors featured in the show. I have sought permission from each and every vendor featured to use their products and their photos. Please do not use these photos for personal gain or copy the designs presented. These products are the livelihood, passion, and intellectual property of each artist and to copy these items or to use them for person gain is both illegal and unethical.
A big THANK YOU to all of you who have participated in and supported this project. To my readers, I hope you have found some great sources for your own weddings and would love to hear back from you on your purchases from the team. I can’t thank the Etsy Virtual Bridal Show Team enough for the donations, support, and promotion they have done over these past 18 days. May your shops thrive and our little project awaken the wedding world to handmade, artisan, fine vintage and individual businesses and the uniqueness they have to offer!
