Welcome to Groom’s Week! All this week I will have posts that are related to the masculine gender whether you consider yourself a “groom” or a “bride.” I’ll be using the words “groom” and “groomsman” to refer to those who identify with the masculine gender for convenience’s sake. Please know that I will be featuring ALL types of grooms no matter their sexual orientation and identity. If you are a reader of this blog, you will know that I believe that anyone who loves and wishes to make a formal commitment of that love are celebrated here.
Today I am featuring groomsmen gifts. For those on a tighter budget, the first two sets are all for gifts under $50 and some even under $20. It’s not the amount you spend that’s important, but the gesture behind the gift that matters. In addition, I have two sets for those where your wedding party budget is not seriously limited. I have tried to avoid the typical flask gift. Trust me, if you’ve been a gromsman or a Man of Honor (I had a Man of Honor) in the past ten years, you probably have a flask or ten laying around a la “27 Dresses.” There is a bit of everything from humidors to a barber spa package from the Art of Shaving (the large pic with the barber chair in it) and my personal favorite is the silver plated yo yo.
