Wedding Wednesday: 50s Diner Theme

Today’s Wedding Wednesday inspiration comes from the iconic image of the 1950s diner scene. Be you an avid Rockabilly fan or simply love the fashion and aesthetic of the era, this board is right up your alley! Featuring a red, white, and blue palette along with circle skirts and an old fashioned jukebox, this theme is sure to bring a nostalgic smile to your guest’s faces.

Skip the cake and go for a diner staple: pie! A pie buffet featuring diner favorites such as apple, cherry, lemon meringue, and chocolate cream pies will be a big hit and a step outside the traditional cake box. Recycle old soda bottles in to vases and add some simple and sweet florals to match your color scheme. As for the menu, keep it old school with a twist with a french fry station full of toppings and various seasonings and a slider bar with mini cheeseburgers with sophisticated flavors such as blue cheese and bacon.

I hope you enjoy today’s board and remember to keep your fete authentically you!
