Wedding Wednesday: Provencal Style Inspiration

Light and breezy, sunlit, pastels, chippy paint, aged furniture, lichen covered stone walls, airy draperies, aromatic herbs drying in wavy glass windows, pottery sitting on open shelves, honey bees buzzing about in the garden, these are just a few aspects of Provencal style. Whether you are planning a destination wedding at a French countryside chateau or a local outdoor Provencal inspired fete, today’s Wedding Wednesday inspiration is perfect for you.

Provencal style is definitely in when it comes to 2013 weddings. It evokes the popular vintage style of 2012, but subdued and with a bit more white space to relax the eye. I like to think of it in terms of Coco Chanel’s quote about looking in to a mirror before heading out the door and removing one accessory. Vintage inspired details, but not to the point where every surface has bits and bobs all about. It’s nature driven relaxation at its finest.

Today I have a gorgeous inspiration board for you and I hope you love it as much as I do!
