Well, it’s Monday and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have my kiddo back from his Grandma’s house. He had a great time up in the mountains and even helped build a snow fort on the lake. My little snow beast is on the right.
I spent my weekend working on one of my favorite DIY wedding projects: my paper flowers made from pages of Pride and Prejudice. So, since I’m in the DIY spirit, I thought I’d show you some recent DIY finds via Pinterest. My personal fave are the recycled tin cans…gorgeous! Enjoy and I’d love to know if you are doing any DIY projects for your own fete.

Happy Monday! I’m so glad to be back home and somewhat rested so that I can get back to the blog and share with you all. It’s been a rough two weeks after the sudden loss of my father and I am so blessed that my sister and I were able to get through the finalization of my dad’s affairs together. My sister, Sandy, is more than just my sister, she’s truly my best friend and I consider myself lucky that she and I have the relationship we do. It wasn’t all work and no play as we got to spend some quality time together:
Bellinis are NOM!
We discovered these pics of us on the Santa Cruz Boardwalk from 1991 the day after our dinner out. Pic deja vu…lol
Sandy had just come back from being stationed in Panama (Army).
Thanks to all of you for your kind words and support over the past couple of weeks. It means a great deal to me and my family. 🙂
Now, on with the show! If you are a total DIY bride or just looking for a DIY project or two to add a bit of handmade goodness to your wedding, here are some of my favorite recently found easy to DIY details to help inspire your creativity and add a special touch to your big day.
