Monday’s Finding: Bridal Gloves

Looking for a great way to enhance your bridal look? Why not consider the accessory that’s making a comeback? Bridal gloves are well on their way back in fashion. Now, before you picture the same old white satin gloves of time gone by, take a peek at some of the gorgeous options that designers are creating for today’s brides. Fingerless, beaded, lace, vibrant colors, and new takes on tradition can add a pop to your wedding day look. Here are some great example of some of my latest bridal glove finds…enjoy!

Saturday’s Latest: Real Size Bride and Anjay Designs, Etsy Virtual Bridal Show Team Roundup

Today’s Saturday’s Latest welcomes two new members to the Etsy Virtual Bridal Show Team: Real Size Bride and Anjay Designs.

Real Size Bride specializes in glamorous bridal gowns for the plus size bride. “Real Size Bride offers cutting edgy wedding dress styles: short dress, slits, backless, feather and dresses with dramatic necklines to emphasize the true beauty of a woman on the happiest day of her life. RSB specifically carries sizes 10-30…with no extra charge for additional sizes, like virtually all designers do. The same applies to added and lengths for the taller bride.” -

Anjay Designs has created some of the most unique and romantic wedding jewelry I’ve ever seen. Their “Spring Collection” is influenced by nature and in addition to the already beautiful stones, the collection features leaves, flowers, and my favorite, butterflies. Anjay has been a jewelry designer for over 25 years.”Since diamonds are forever, here at Anjays Designs, I hope that I can provide all my customers with an eternity of joy and happiness.” -

In Memory Of…

Friday’s post was going to be dedicated to the victims of the Sandy Hook school shooting, and it still is. However, this morning, my dear sweet brother-in-law, Boe passed in his sleep suddenly. He was an amazing man who I loved and admired a great deal. Please keep my sister, Sandy in your thoughts and prayers. We have lost our parents and her husband in less than two years. We know he and our parents are in heaven together.

Stunner Thursday: Winter Wine Lip

Whether you are a Winter bride looking to make a dramatic statement with your wedding day look or are enjoying pre-wedding day events, the color trending this year for winter lips is wine. Glossy or matte, dark or light, red head (such as myself) or are darker skinned, there is a shade of wine that is sure flatter you. Today, I have a little collection of some of my favorite wine lip looks for you. Dare to be bold with your wedding day look!
