Wedding Wednesday: Art Nouveau Inspiration…Plan a wedding on Etsy

It’s been a while since I’ve done a “Plan a wedding on Etsy” post and this board (in my humble opinion) is a great example of the diversity and quality of wedding elements you can find via Etsy. Be it vintage pieces, upcycled wares, or 100% handmade goodness, you can plan a wedding on Etsy.

If you love the beauty of nature, are considering a garden wedding, or an outdoor wedding in a mountain meadow, you might want to consider an Art Nouveau theme. The movement was a celebration of natural forms and structures such as in flowers and plants, curved lines, and harmonizing buildings and structures with the natural environment. Art Nouveau is an artistic and architecture movement most popular from 1890 – 1910. Artists include Alphonse Mucha, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Antoni GaudĂ, Louis Comfort Tiffany, and Carlo Bugatti (yep, the car designer).

As you can see, the Art Nouveau movement created a beautiful aesthetic that is perfect as a wedding theme. Here is a bit of Art Nouveau inspiration courtesy of Etsy to spark your own nature-centered fete.
